Hello
My name is Lisa – I am a Mum of two young Girls based in Surrey.
Having suffered with anxiety from a young age, I grew up not understanding how my mind was controlling my body. In my twenties when my anxiety was at its peak - I tried Yoga.
In my first yoga class we practised pyramid breath, over the years this technique has taught me how to be calm and still, helping me gain control of my thoughts and emotions.
My journey in Yoga, instilled in me a confidence, that has allowed me to manage my anxiety and has taught my mind how to reflect and be still during turbulent times… Most importantly, understanding the link between my body and mind, and how they impact on each other.

As I have grown and become a Mum, having the ability to allow for a calm mind and a chance to be still, if only for a few seconds has been fundamental... Which, some days can seem like an impossible task.
On my journey to become a yoga teacher I completed; 200 hours Shivanda Yoga Teacher Training at Yoga Ananda in Reigate. I subsequently completed; Children’s Yoga Teacher Training with the wonderful Jessica Wingate.
Through both of my Adult and Children’s yoga classes, my main focus is calmness and stillness - enabling my students/clients to have confidence to manage their thoughts and be at peace with stillness.
I teach both Adult and Children’s Yoga - my primary objective is to engage and lead my students and offer a serene moment of time during a busy day which allows my students the opportunity to calm their minds, reflect and feel relaxed.
Love & Light,
Lisa - Surrey Heath Yoga xx

Lisa is amazing at what she does. Her yoga classes are the best! As a complete beginner, she put me at ease and talked me through everything. By the end of my first class I felt like I had been doing young all my life! Lisa has a wealth of knowledge and expertise, she creates a warm and friendly atmosphere, I would highly recommend her classes.
